What happens at a
St Leonard's service?
This varies with the services through each month.
What is the length of the service?
As short as an hour on first and third Sundays— as long as ninety minutes on the others.
Can l come if it's a communion service?
If you are not yet a member of a Christian church do come up to the altar rail and allow us to briefly pray for you.
lt's all done very discreetly but it could change your life.
Are children welcome?
The first Service in the month is a family service and as such is geared to children from 0-100!
All other Sundays have children's clubs with Activities related to their age.
What do you do after the service?
You could go home.
But we'd rather you joined us for refreshments in St Leonard's Centre over the road from the church.
We realise that that could be quite daunting so please speak to one of the Stewards - they wear a 'Steward' badge and are usually by the entrance to the church - and they will introduce you to someone to take you for refreshments.
What should l wear?
‘Sunday best‘ is no more!
We generally wear what we are comfortable in.
What car parking facilities are available?
There are some sixteen off road bays around St Leonard's Centre.
Otherwise it's considerate parking in Rectory Road and in Station Road.
Please remember though it is against the law to park within 10 metres (32 feet) of a road junction.
Can I be a Christian without going to church?
Yes – but you will be a much better one and your Christian experience will be so much more meaningful, sharper and helpful if you meet up regularly with other like-minded people.
The lump of coal that falls from the fire usually cools before too long.
But if it’s our church you have difficulty with come and tell us.
We may be able to put it right.
If not we can help you find the right church for you.
