Oakley Pilgrimage to Winchester Cathedral
3 & 4 April 2020
We are looking for helpers and volunteer support to make the pilgrimage a success for everyone.
Our pilgrimage will walk the ancient and modern paths including Wayfarers Walk, Three Castles Path, and Itchen Way into Winchester.
There is a wealth of historical interest on this pilgrimage.
It is open to everyone; of all ages, faiths, beliefs and church affiliations - be it for friendship, inspiration or recreation in the company of others to a holy place.
The Pilgrimage is 24 miles in total over the two days. (See above map), and will have an overnight shelter at Brown Candover for pilgrims.
Please note a reasonable level of fitness and appropriate clothing and equipment is advised to complete the pilgrimage.
Further information updates will be available from Ash Wednesday, 26 February, onwards in the St Leonards Church weekly Welcome news-sheet and this website and that of Oakley & Deane Parish Council .
A hard copy of the joining form will be available from the St Leonards Parish Office or email firstname.lastname@example.org
